Cobourg Santa Photo Terms & Policies
RESERVATION POLICIES:
Santa photos will be by appointment only. Appointments can be booked online through the link on our website, and require a non-refundable retainer equal to the value of your session fee + HST. This eliminates any missed appointments for us, as well as the handling of cash on site prior to your visit and photo opportunity with Santa. There are a very limited number of appointments available, so it is strongly suggested that you book online in advance, however, appointments can also be booked online on site using your cell phone, should there happen to be availability. Please don’t wait until the last minute. We sell out our Santa sessions prior to opening day almost every year in Bowmanville, and we expect a similar response in Cobourg.
illness/CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please do not attend your appointment if anyone in your party or in your home is ill, or if you have been in contact with any known cases of Covid or other communicable illness. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of illness while you are in attendance at the event, your visit and photo opportunity with Santa will immediately be cancelled without refund. Should Santa become ill, and thereby need to self-isolate, a refund will be issued to all subsequent clients whose appointments are cancelled by us as a result.
transfer policy:
Once a reservation has been made, it cannot be cancelled or rescheduled, and no refunds will be provided. We cannot fill appointments for you if you cannot attend, however, you may arrange with someone to take your place by providing us with the date and time of your appointment and the contact information of the family who will be taking your place, no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Your appointment is not deemed to be transferred until you have received confirmation from us.
COMMUNICATION:
We do our very best to respond to all communication as quickly as possible. Please be advised that we will not be able to respond to messages, emails, or phone calls within the hours leading up to, during, and within the hours following the Santa sessions. Messages and calls received during these times may not receive a response until at least the following business day.
CHECK-IN:
Appointments have been staggered so as to avoid having a crowd around the set. You are welcome and encouraged to shop the various vendors at We Made It & Rosie Young Designs prior to and after your session, but please arrive on set no more than five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
digital files:
Your digital file will be sent via the email you have provided, within one week of your session at We Made It & Rosie Young Designs in Cobourg, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
use of images and personal information:
By attending the Santa Photo event at We Made It & Rosie Young Designs in Cobourg, you hereby certify that you are the parent or legal guardian of all minors in your party and have the legal right to give permission for them to be photographed. You hereby grant Danita Hosking and/or Danita Hosking Photography the right to use and publish any images or video taken, of both adults and minors, to further promote her/its service, including but not limited to: portfolio, web, display, signage, advertisement, contest or accreditation submission, and editorial use. You understand and agree that there will be no remuneration for the use of these images, however used. You agree that Danita Hosking Photography will add your email address to our mailing list, and that you will have the option to remove yourself from our list at any time. Your personal information will not be shared or sold. We respect your privacy.
